PEROVSKA atriplicifolia

Russian sage is a drought‑proof subshrub 1 m with lavender‑blue plumes July–October above silvery aromatic foliage. Loves poor, stony soil and full sun; hardy to −25 °C. Cut back to 10 cm in early spring and avoid rich fertiliser to keep stems upright. Attracts bees and pairs well with grasses.
