PARROTIA persica Vanessa

‘Vanessa’ Persian ironwood grows with a narrow columnar habit 8 m, suiting streets and small gardens. Leaves emerge bronze, turn green, then blaze yellow, orange and crimson in autumn. Flaking bark reveals mottled greys and creams. Hardy to −25 °C, tolerant of clay once established. Needs sun for best colour; prune only to remove crossing branches.
