MORUS alba

White mulberry is a fast‑growing deciduous tree 15 m with large lobed leaves and sweet white to pinkish fruit in summer. Valued as silkworm food, it tolerates drought, pollution and pruning into pollards. Plant in full sun, fertile soil; hardy to −25 °C. Fruits can stain—site away from pavements if unmanaged.
