‘Blue Alps’ Chinese juniper is a tough, medium shrub 2–3 m with silvery blue needles and graceful arching branches. Highly drought‑, wind‑ and pollution‑tolerant, it thrives in poor, sandy soils and full sun. Use as screening, specimen or bank stabiliser. Requires no pruning, though it can be lightly shaped in winter. Hardy to −25 °C.
