Italian cypress ‘Pyramidalis’ is the iconic needle‑slender column of Mediterranean landscapes, rising 20–25 m but only 1–1.5 m wide. Dark green scale foliage clothes the straight trunk; cones add texture. Prefers full sun, alkaline to neutral well‑drained soil and hot summers, yet tolerates drought, wind and urban pollution. Hardy to about −12 °C in dry sites. Use in pairs framing gateways or as dramatic vertical accents.
