BUDDLEJA in varietà

Collectively called butterfly bushes, Buddleja varieties are fast‑growing deciduous shrubs bearing fragrant flower spikes in vivid purple, pink, blue or white from midsummer to autumn. The nectar‑rich blooms are magnets for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Most cultivars reach 2–3 m but new dwarf series stay under 1 m for pots. Thriving in full sun and well‑drained soil, they withstand heat, drought and poor fertility. Dead‑head spent panicles to prolong flowering and curb self‑seeding; hard prune in early spring to encourage fresh, floriferous growth.
