YUCCA rostrata

Beaked yucca is an architectural desert plant forming a single trunk topped by a globe of blue‑steel leaves. Eventually 3 m, it tolerates −15 °C if kept bone dry and loves full sun and gravelly soil. Late spring brings cream flower spikes 1 m long. Perfect focal point for xeric and contemporary plantings; remove dead leaves to accentuate the shaggy “skirt”.
