‘Otto Luyken’ is a compact cherry laurel 1 m × 2 m with narrow, dark leaves and upright white candles of flowers. Excellent low hedge or foundation shrub in shade. Hardy to −25 °C and drought‑tolerant once rooted. Shear after bloom to shape; berries are decorative but mildly toxic if ingested.
