‘Nellie R. Stevens’ holly is a vigorous hybrid (I. aquifolium × I. cornuta) forming a dense pyramid 8‑10 m. Self‑fertile, it produces abundant bright red berries without a pollinator. Glossy, dark green leaves have few spines; growth of 60 cm yr makes fast screens. Sun or shade, drought‑ and heat‑tolerant, hardy to −15 °C. Prune in late winter for size control.
