Genista lydia is a compact, arching shrub 60 cm, smothered in bright golden pea flowers in late spring. Slender green shoots provide year‑round colour even leafless. Ideal for rock gardens, walls and dry, sandy soils in full sun; drought‑ and deer‑resistant, hardy to −20 °C. Prune lightly after bloom to maintain the airy dome.
