COTONEASTER in varietà

Cotoneasters comprise evergreen and deciduous shrubs and groundcovers ranging 0.3–3 m, prized for masses of white spring blossoms followed by red or orange berries that feed birds through winter. Arching branches carry glossy foliage that may redden in autumn. Tough, drought‑tolerant and pollution‑resistant, they thrive in full sun to semi‑shade on any well‑drained soil, binding banks and making low hedges. Occasional pruning after fruiting controls size.
