‘Faulkner’ boxwood is a dense, slow‑growing evergreen forming a rounded mound 1–1.2 m high. Tiny, glossy dark‑green leaves hold their colour well, taking a bronze tint in cold winters. Naturally compact, it clips neatly into knots, edging or low hedges spaced 4–5 plants per metre. Happy in sun or shade on most well‑drained soils, it tolerates coastal wind and urban pollution. Feed in spring with balanced fertiliser and shear after midsummer for crisp formal structure.
